Can I Deny Visitation Without a Court Order?

Hey everyone,

I’m in a bit of a dilemma. If there’s no court order in place, can I still deny visitation to the other parent? I want to make sure I’m doing the right thing and not stepping out of line. Any advice or experiences you can share would be super helpful!

No, you cannot deny visitation without a court order. The custodial parent must follow the existing court order or custody agreement, even if they have concerns. Any changes or disputes should be addressed through the legal system.

You cannot deny visitation rights to the non-custodial parent if there is a custody agreement or court order in place.

Nope!! Just make sure you have clear proof of the evidence they are denying. Make sure it has dates, etc. on the evidence. As long as you have your proof, it would only hurt him. Also, make sure not to argue back with him or do/say anything in text or emails that can come back on you. Keep things short & simple.
