I have been wondering what the typical visitation schedule looks like for non-custodial parents. I want to make sure it’s fair for both sides. Does anyone have experiences to share?
I think it really depends on the situation, but usually weekends work well. Like every other weekend maybe?

Yeah, that sounds about right. Plus, some mid-week visits can help too, right?
@Rose
For sure! I’ve seen that work well, especially if the kid has activities during the week.
I’ve heard alternating holidays can be a good idea too. Keeps things balanced.

That’s a good point. It avoids the stress of fighting over holidays.

Right? Plus, it gives each parent a chance to make special memories.
IDK, I think it’s all about flexibility. If both parents can communicate well, it helps a lot.

Totally agree! Flexibility is key. But what do you mean by good communication?
@Tal
Just keeping each other in the loop about changes and being open to adjustments, you know?
I think having a consistent schedule helps the kids feel secure too.

Yes! Kids thrive on routine. It’s nice to know what to expect.
