Hey everyone, I’m currently in a legal battle regarding my child’s safety. We’re dealing with a situation where the father has been sharing nude photos of our child, and I can’t believe how seriously the court is treating this. During my CIU interview, the official laughed it off, saying it doesn’t count as child pornography (CP). Even my lawyer seemed to dismiss my concerns! I just don’t understand how this is okay. If a stranger did this, everyone would be outraged. Why isn’t this being taken seriously? I’m feeling really lost and upset about it. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
That sounds incredibly frustrating. It shouldn’t matter who the parent is; sharing those photos is absolutely wrong. Have you thought about finding a different lawyer who takes this more seriously?
I can’t believe they laughed at your concerns. This is definitely a serious issue, and you should keep pushing for action. Maybe look into advocacy groups that can help.
I’m so sorry you’re going through this. It’s crazy how the system sometimes fails to protect kids. It doesn’t matter if it’s a boy or a girl; it’s wrong regardless.
You should document everything, including what the officials said. That might help in showing how serious this is if you need to escalate it.
I’ve heard of similar situations where courts didn’t take it seriously. Keep fighting! You’re doing the right thing by speaking up.
