How can a temporary restraining order be dismissed in California?

Hey, do any of you know what paperwork is required to dismiss a temporary restraining order (TRO) in California, specifically for domestic violence cases? I’ve heard that for a restraining order after hearing (ROAH), the protected party needs to file a Request for Order (RFO), but I’m not sure about the process for dismissing a TRO. I know sometimes if the petitioner doesn’t show up to the hearing, it can be dismissed that way, but I’m looking for the specific paperwork route to follow. Any ideas?

Certainly, you can submit an ex parte motion to dismiss it.

To dismiss a Temporary Restraining Order (TRO) in California you will need to file a request for dismissal throough a court clerk

If you are the person who requested the TRO (the petitioner), you need to file a “Request for Dismissal” (Form CIV-110) with the court. This form is used to request the dismissal of a civil case, including a TRO.
