How can I get full custody with my son living with a cartel member?

Hey everyone, I’m currently the non-custodial parent (NCP), and my son lives with his mom, who’s only 21. The problem is she’s living with her uncle, who’s involved with a cartel and has a serious file against him. The FBI and ATF are investigating him. I’m really concerned about my son’s safety and want to know how I can get full custody. I live in the same city, and there’s a restraining order that I’m disputing against the custodial parent. Any advice?

You should definitely talk to a family law attorney. They can guide you on how to present your case, especially with the safety concerns.

I was thinking of that. Just worried about how long this might take.

If there’s an ongoing investigation, that could work in your favor. Document everything related to your concerns about your son’s living situation.

I’ve started keeping records of everything. Just want to make sure I have enough evidence.

Make sure you gather any evidence of the cartel involvement. If you can show that it impacts your son’s safety, it’ll help your case.

Definitely. I’ll do my best to get what I need.

Also, consider reaching out to social services. They might be able to investigate the situation themselves.

That’s a good idea. I’ll look into that option.

It’s tough being in this situation. Stay persistent, and make sure you have legal support. You got this!

Thanks for the encouragement! I really appreciate it.
