I’m in a bit of a tough spot and need some advice on how to arrange supervised visitation with my child. What’s the process like, and what steps do I need to take? Any tips or personal experiences would be really helpful!
If there is cause to think that the kid is not secure in that parent’s care alone, but there is also cause to think that it is in the child’s best interests to see that parent occasionally, the court will impose supervised visitation.
Hi, To obtain supervised visitation, request it through your local family court. You may need to provide evidence supporting the need for supervision and work with a court-appointed supervisor or agency to arrange and monitor visits.
I believe it’s important to respect the role of a father in a person’s life. As someone in a personal relationship with a woman going through a divorce, you have no legal rights in this situation. Perhaps if the father were to relinquish his rights and paternity to the child, adopting them could be considered. However, the father has the right to see his child and my opinion holds no weight in this matter.
