You don’t have to like each other to be good parents. Just focus on what’s best for the baby and protect yourself legally.
Honestly, I don’t think the law is gonna solve this one. This is gonna be a mess.
You should apply for full custody. Both she and her dad have been violent. How far along is she?

She’s due in July.
Cut off all contact. If she wants to go through the courts, she can. Until then, don’t get dragged back into the drama.

Be careful—if you wait for her to do it, you might end up owing back child support. Get a paternity test as soon as the baby is born.
