Who pays the child support?

Will they create a schedule for us too if I earn more than my father but am receiving public assistance for the kids with Medicaid and we split the costs 50/50? She is only two years old, and I was on Medicaid, but they sanctioned me for not complying with them, and I feel like a horrible person for placing him on child support. I simply can not bear to go through all of this.

Whoever has the child or makes the most money has one fewer night each year than the other. My former spouse and I divided custody of our two children. Now that his children are adults, he remains a wonderful father. All of it was divided 50/50. Up until the state intervened, we operated quite well on our own. That caused numerous problems. It was only when I applied for help after losing my work that the state became involved. This, while I understand, is also terrible. He was forced to pay me child support since I spent one extra night a year with the kids than he did. All I did was return the money to him every month.Until our daughter moved away at the age of 17, my ex and I decided to just give it to her rather than going through the legal system. too provide assistance to her while she was on her own. He helped to make ends meet when I was unemployed. In the same way that he did, I made up for his job loss. For them, we always collaborated, even when we had new marriages.Although my adult children witnessed their parents’ separation, we made every effort to show them that parents are capable of cooperating. Though not always easy, we managed to make it work. I still have a fantastic relationship with my ex. Our kids don’t need to be concerned about keeping us apart. Together, we enjoy family gatherings. It improved our kids, in my opinion.

The parent who has primary physical custody of the child, meaning the child lives with them most of the time

Dad likely pays child support if you have main custody (child lives with you more). Public assistance can affect the amount. Costs you already split are considered. Court sets the final amount. Contact child support services for specifics and don’t feel bad about needing help!

Child support is typically paid by the non-custodial parent, which is the parent who does not have primary custody of the child.

The purpose of child support is to help cover the costs of raising a child, including housing, food, clothing, education, and other essential needs.

The amount and duration of child support payments are usually determined by the court, based on factors like income, custody arrangements, and the needs of the child.

A father is the one who mostly pays for the child support.

You may have financial consequences if you marry a man who pays child support. Because state laws differ, do your homework.
Even if the father was providing assistance, some vengeful women may force the man to pay child support. This kind of guy is being dated by a friend of mine. He is a devoted father who is highly involved in the family. His former partner, who earns well over six figures, required him to pay over $1,500 in child support each month for their two children. After my friend persuaded him to take the case to court, she was found to be lying and misusing the system, and she was forced to repay him thousands of dollars. Additionally, his payments were drastically cut.
